Emily & Jordan’s wedding at Harbor Midtown was an unforgettable celebration filled with nonstop energy, emotional moments, and a packed dance floor from start to finish. As a Harbor Midtown Wedding DJ, it’s always exciting getting to perform at one of Rochester’s most unique and modern wedding venues.

Arbor Midtown is a stunning modern-elegant venue in downtown Rochester. With its sleek white walls and grand pillars, it was the perfect backdrop for a night of celebration. Emily & Jordan had their ceremony at a church, so I was brought in to make their reception unforgettable. They opted for Uplighting and Cold Sparks to elevate the ambiance and create those jaw-dropping moments.

For their lighting design, we went with a soft lavender and white mix, complementing the venue’s natural elegance while adding a romantic glow to the space. The couple wanted a simple and seamless flow for their introductions, leading straight into their first dance, where we used Cold Sparks to create a magical “wow” effect.

Once dinner wrapped up, it was time to hit the dance floor, and let me tell you—this crowd came to party! Buffalo Bills fans were in the building, so of course, “Shout” was an absolute must-play. The energy was electric, and I kept the momentum going all night, mixing a blend of genres to keep everyone engaged.

By the time I played the final song, the energy in the room was still sky-high. The entire crowd started chanting my name—“DJ Mike! DJ Mike!”—which was an unreal moment for me. More importantly, I was just happy knowing that I helped make Emily & Jordan’s night one they’ll never forget.
